How weird is this





Think it's sommit to do with the battery

but ive woke up and my mp3 player has obviously overheated during the night

Some folk on the Archos msg board think it could explode as the batteries in it can do that LI-POL batterys.

hope Archos come pick it up soon.

LiPo batteries can sometimes be pretty nasty.
It's unlikely to explode if it hasn't already, but I wouldn't have it in my pocket anytime soon! Bucket of sand, maybe...

it's more likely to burst than explode, but aye, wouldn't find it on my person anytime soon anyway.
