| Facebook on Blackberry does anyone have this??
I have a facebook alert on my phone I cant get rid of, and its annoying
I've logged into facebook from my blackberry and searched the mail and updates and notifications and have no idea why it just appeared there and cant get rid of it at all
has anyone had similar problems and if so, how did you get rid of the alert?
I'd rather not get rid of the whole application altogether, but i dunno if its worth uninstalling then reinstalling??

| Re: Facebook on Blackberry If you open the Facebook App on your BlackBerry, then press the BlackBerry logo button and click on Options, just deselect the BlackBerry Message Application options, that should do it.
I think turning off email notifications on the main Facebook site does it as well. |

| Re: Facebook on Blackberry Mine just recently did this aswell. The icon at the top of my screen doesn't have the wee red star notification bit, just the facebook logo with a 1 beside it.
The Myspace and Facebook apps seem more hassle than they're worth at the minute. |

| Re: Facebook on Blackberry i used to get that with the myspace application, solved it by logging out then back in with the application. Don't know if that will work with the facebook application. |

| Re: Facebook on Blackberry I figured it out, there was one message I'd skimmed past and not opened, so that's why the icon was still there. You have to open every message. Fun.
Think i'mma delete the whole thing and just visit the site instead. |
