| Re: Get to know: The Techie Talk folks I know pretty much everything there is to know about Macintosh System 7.5
Sadly I know very little about more recent versions
(But I guess that's because by and large you don't NEED to know anything )
However, I've been thinking about buying a cheap windows laptop just because I think it's ridiculous that I have no idea whatsoever how PCs work... So I expect to become quite a regular in this forum, asking questions like "where's the power buton" and such like

[/holywar] | They're both as pish as each other! macs are only slightly better but I wonder if OSX would be able to cope if it was in the same situation as Windows? I for one thought OSX (macs) were so much better than windows when I first got one, but having had it for a while now I have plenty of complaints and annoyances. |

I'm havin to use a laptop at the moment. A rather nice Thinkpad mind you.
My main rig is down at moment, one of my PSU converter adaptors gave out. 4 pin to 8 pin, it melted. So I am currently awaiting delivery of a rather luxurious 24 pin modular EPS PSU. |
