| MSN and Windows Messenger If anyone is having trouble still with these two programs and you want to unistall Windows Messenger then go to:
Start->Run, and enter or paste this (all on one line):
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

START > RUN >
Type in the command box: sc config messenger start= disable
This will disable the service altoghther if it is started.
If you want a visual check use this way
START > RUN >
Type in the command box: services.msc
A window will open locate MESSENGER from the list and double click.
In this window you can configure this service. |
