When you look inside your compuer you will see a slot that is about 5mm wide, and about 5 inches long. It will have 2 little levers at either end for locking it in place. It will look like this:
When you have found the correct slot you must make sure that the levers at either end are fully open. When they are open, carefully align the new memory with the slot. When aligned carefully, but firmly push the memory down into the slot. Be sure to push it in evenly so it is in the same amount either end. When the memory is in as far as it can go you must close the levers up at either side. They will fit nicely into the little cut out at the side of the memory. If they do not match up you must push the memory in a little further.
Now switch on your computer and it should automatically recognise it. To check if it has worked right-click on my computer and choose properties. It will then tell you how much memory the computer is registering
