Climate Chaos!...BBC1 tonight ...

I've always said I'd put money on 'us' or at least the climate ending the world, if ever ...or at least wiping 'us' out ...
The rate that the climate has changed in the past century, is alarming.
Sea levels, rainfall patterns, glaciers, are all affected by climate change and in turn increasing extreme weather conditions around the world.

Not sure how good these shows will be but if you're interested in such information, then maybe worth a watch.

I still think that ultimately the planet will win, I have to say, but I agree we should help rather than hinder its successful progression.

Quite, the ice ages and millenia of lava eruptions and so on make what we see as destructive look kinda unimportant surely?

I think it's a very selfish perspective we have. At worst we'll make the planet less suitable for us and a few pandas and tigers and whatnot.

The cockroaches will be just fine. We're aiding natural selection surely!

as we are part of nature and evolution i agree we are nature and not some 'beast'. of course we could be more careful and environmentally friendly ...but we're doing things we see as natural (progression) its just unfortunately having adverse effects around us ...but thats life is it not...trial and error?
