Just watching the first episode the now on ITV4. Saw few adverts for it and I LOVE "disaster" things about possible future scenarios etc. It's pretty good so far with the "mysterious" main character who is the mayors son etc (Skeet Ulrich - my how he's aged!). Anyone else watch/ed it? |

It was cancelled mid season but a fan uproar led to it being reinstated (thus the whole 'me seeing the entire season and not just the first 14 episodes'). Even if it's just one season it's good entertainment. | |

I'm pretty sure it wasn't cancelled midseason, it just had a long hiatus a la 'Lost'. It was cancelled at the end of the season, which is when the fan uproar you describe took place and due to this they've reinstated it for a midseason of like 7-8 episodes or some shit. | |

I definitely read that it was cancelled mid season 1 but you could be right and I could have misunderstood. I'm not terribly bothered when shows are cancelled after one season (apart from Firefly, which was a crime), esp if they're able to tie it all up and make it almost like a mini-series or tv movie in bits. | |

I absolutely love this, just got round to watching it. Wikipedia are saying that CBS are trying to offload it to another conglomerate which would be amazing, but at present there won't be any more episodes.
Skeet Ulrich is lovely though, definitely rivalling Rob Lowe for my top spot in celebs that were good, then went shit, now looking seriously good list. | |
