The Bill's 'Reg Hollis' hospitalised after being sacked...
Jeff Stewart, the bloke who plays Reg Hollis in The Bill was told his contract wouldn't be renewed after 24 years on the show. Shortly after he was hospitalised after apparently cutting his wrists... I thought this was really quite sad.

I meant to make a thread about this earlier. Must suck getting to 52 and realising you have no career prospects and you've blown all your money on booze, drugs and whores.
