| Eurovision 2008.
It's time again people! More and more artist have been elected around Europe to partake in the Eurovision 2008 competition. "What is Eurovision?" you might ask? (If you're an idiot.) Quote:
The Eurovision Song Contest is an annual competition held among active member countries of the European Broadcasting Union.
Each member country submits a song to be performed on live television and then casts votes for the other countries' songs to determine the most popular song in the competition. Each country participates via one of their national EBU-member television stations, whose task it is to select a singer and a song to represent their country in the international competition.
| The only guide you need:  All confirmed contestants: Bulgaria: Hot women and DJ's are soooo 2003. Denmark is sending a guy which is in pretty much everywhere on danish telly these days, both as a singer, as a dancer and as actor in two crappy drama's on television. Dutch: entry here. Estonia: has taken the total idiot approach this year. Finland: Finland is continuing on the path Lordi paved, with Teräsbetoni. Yeah, that's the official entry. Germany: Generic pop from germany this year, instead of the awesome retarded, catchy stuff from years ago. Iceland: their entry this year sucks so much. Fuck you Iceland. Ireland: Holy fuckin shit! Latvia: has pirates. Slovenian: Generic pop. Spain: Wow, this sure was zany. Sweden: We couldn't find any real trannies, so we sent Charlotte Perelli. UK: token song so we get to hear Wogan mock all the other countries. **Add others on as you find them.

Some of those are ok.
They should totally do a Eurovision Rock contest though. Either that, or get Norway to enter a black metal group in the main contest. For no other reason than Wogan's reaction. | |

This is also the order they'll perform in.
He rekons it's between Sweden and Ukraine. I might just put a bet on. My favourite to back was ireland, but they're not even through, how did Spain get through???? Oh aye money...
