| Zombies? Big Brother? Charlie Brooker? Sweet! Charlie Brooker, he of "Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe" and some-time Chris Morris co-writer, has written a 6 part series to air on E4 later this month called " Dead Set", the plot being Britain has been over-run by zombies, and the inhabitants of the Big Brother house are unaware of said outbreak, until the first of them is evicted...
...sounds fucking fantastic. |

This sounds pretty good. Could be hit and miss like Nathan Barley though.

| Re: Zombies? Big Brother? Charlie Brooker? Sweet! "Some things are more important than branding, aesthetics is one of them." Quote: E4 to drop branding for zombie drama.
E4 is to drop its on-screen logo for the duration of upcoming Big Brother zombie thriller Dead Set.
Endemol-owned indie Zeppotron requested to screen the drama without E4's branding to avoid confusing viewers as the action switches between scripted scenes in the Big Brother house and the horror erupting in the world outside.
Unusually, the series will also air without end credits until the final episode. At the end of parts one to four, viewers will be directed to a dedicated website for the full cast and crew listings, a tactic previously employed by C4 for Chris Morris' sketch series Jam in 2000.
"Dead Set has high production values and with the amount of prosthetics, special effects and stunt crews, it has longer credits than the average TV show," a spokeswoman said. "Parts two to five are half an hour long and the credits would have taken up too much time. The full cast and crew will be credited at the end of episode five."
Dead Set is E4's biggest-budget commission to date and was devised and written by Guardian columnist and Nathan Barley co-creator Charlie Brooker, who is creative director of Zeppotron.
| HOLY SHIT not much will get a channel to do that, I'm impressed.
There are some previews in Cineworlds, I dunno if Glasgow's doing it? They're running the show in full, before e4 shows even one episode? I need to see this! |
