Time Trumpet Seeing as The Thick of It has returned I thought I'd draw some attention towards this much overlooked Armando Ianucci series. It basically takes the form of a clip-show from 30 years in the future using actors playing the parts of current celebrities in their older forms, talking heads and some clever cg/editing to 'look back' on how crap moden life is. HUW EDWARDS HYDRAULIC DESK! Well worth hunting down.

"An exhausted looking tony blair was found in downtown basrah with a loaded handgun, beside some bins."

Re: Time Trumpet Aw I liked this. I liked the bit about Charlotte Church being turned inside out in front of the Royal Family, I think?

Re: Time Trumpet I don't think Time Trumpet was all that overlooked, otherwise it wouldn't have been released on dvd. I seem to remember Armando saying that there might be another series in the future. I loved the show but still prefer one-off specials 2004: The Stupid Version and Clinton: His Struggle with Dirt, they were even funnier - perhaps because they were more focused.

Re: Time Trumpet 15 Storeys High is criminally overlooked. I loved the Labour/Tory sections of Time Trumpet, especially Tony Blair 'seeing ghosts'.
