| The Title Race. Rangers, played 26, goal difference 45, points 65.
Celtic, played 26, goal difference 45, points 61.
12 games to go and its all there to play for. How confident are you feeling of your team winning the league title this year?
Myself I think we'll do it, we were stuttering a few weeks back and grinding out results but we've hit some form when we need to. And with 3 home games coming up in the run up, that gives me a little more hope. Plus 10 wins on the trot!
The one worry I do have is the fixture congestion, and while I think we have a squad to do it, Weir playing every game cannae be good. He needs rested. And injuries as well.
Obviously the three Old Firm games will decide an awful lot but with Celtic not beating us since September 2006 and not scoring against us for 15 months, i'm confident of at least getting 6 points out of 9. Next games.
Rangers - Aberdeen (H), Hibs (H), Celtic (H), Dundee Utd (A)
Celtic - Hibs (A), Motherwell (A), Gretna (A), Rangers (A), Motherwell (H)
Roll on March 29th. It's been far too long since the last Old Firm.

| Re: The Title Race. I have renewed confidence after last night. Celtic looked very impressive immediately after the transfer window and we looked to be doing just enough to win games but not much more and I was beginning to worry we were running out of steam/ideas. As I didn't actually see last night's game I can't comment accurately but by the sound of things the Gers have stepped it up a gear and if we can continue with that kind of form (especially in the OF games) it's ours.

It's difficult too tell if Rangers were really good or Hearts were that bad.
No shots on goal says a lot about Hearts yesterday. |

| Re: The Title Race. We've nae chance.
Don't have another home league game till April, and have to go to mordor AGAIN before we get back to Parkhead.
Even if we win all our away games, and we lose that one, we are potentially 7 points behind.
Major downer.
Cue Rangers 10 men behind the ball for 2 games at parkhead.
It's just not going to happen.
Managers too interested in papering over the cracks, and the team has zero urgency until we get a scare or go a goal down.
pish.

It IS retarded.
Our defence was exactly the same for the last game "v people like novo, darchiville etx DUHRP" and we got beat 3-0.
It's daft saying that.
We might win, we might get beat, but to compare our defence to their strikers as "reason why we will win" when those same strikers put 3 past that same defence last time is ridiculous.

It's just not going to happen. | If it gets the job done then it's a brilliant tactic.

Cautiously confident though. Think we can do it, confident we can do the double... maybe the treble. Euro is just becoming more of a burden on our title challenge though. Gotta set our priorities, wipe the dust off gow and buffel and get them involved in some games too.

| Re: The Title Race. Aye i'd say the Uefa cup could hinder us. I'd rather win the three in Scotland before the Uefa cup anyway.
March will be a important month for both clubs.

| Re: The Title Race. Our game against hibs on saturday will be a big one i believe we havent won at easter road since 2005. Games like those make or break the season, if the team plays the way it can we will win the game but more players need to step up (Scott Brown...im looking at you) cause there is to much reliance on aiden at the moment. |
