| Re: Strachan must go... Donati does appear to be a mystery. Just like Hesselink, Gravesen and Jarosik before him. Perhaps Strachan doesn't get on with big name players but I keep an eye on Atalanta and he was shit hot when he first came through and on loan last year. Some players need a year to get used to a new country but he's been poor in Europe as well.
Brown just can't play in a two man midfield it seems.

If someone could explain to me why Celtic aren't playing Paul Hartley, so has been the best Celtic midfielder every time i've seen him play recently, isn't getting a game i'd be surprised. |
because of strachan and thats why he must go, i dont think the players like him |

| Re: Strachan must go... Tonight, sitting in that lifeless stadium was the night I lost my patience with GS.
And it saddens me that I'm now "on the wagon" as it has been said.
You can give it "last 16 twice" all you want, but it's not really covering over the cracks for me either.
Get Strachan Out Now. Quote:

Donati seems pretty average, Sno is .... useless, JVOH can't run.
I think he's the best argument for a director of football who handles transfers ever.

| Re: Strachan must go... Fact is: If you win fuck all over a season as a Celtic Manger, you get the sack. It's the jungle law. If he stays it's because he is a PLC/board appeasing bastard, and keeps the wage bill nice and low for LOLwell.
4 Games, no wins, 1 goal.
It hasn't been 3 unlucky performances.

| Re: Strachan must go... Agreed with Chris here. The atmosphere was muted to say the least, but that was nothing compared to the turgid performance on the park - same old story about certain players not mucking in when it matters.
I'm absolutely certain Donati is not equipped for the role he's being played in - the fact that he barely moves suggests he's either lazy, or some sort of holding midfielder...but what's the point in playing him there when opposition players just shrug him off every time? That's not to mention the countless occasions this season where he can't make his mind up where to pass to with options open.
I have to admit that I've never been wholly convinced with Strachan, but I've been giving him the benefit of the doubt because he's been able to pull the cat out of the bag quite a lot up until now. The big decider will be whether he can pull us back up and win the league - not just for the sake of the trophy, but to prove that there's some heart and passion about the team. If that doesn't happen, then it's time to at least consider other options.

I think he's the best argument for a director of football who handles transfers ever. | Sno didn't cost any money and JVoH for all his previous shite has been one of our best players since Christmas - John Hartson and Chris Sutton couldn't run either. |
