| Re: What to do for holidays.... I'm going to Switzerland at the end of May to drink beer at the feet of some of the more impressive alps. I was going to go alone but just found a friend to come with me.
Glasgow -> Geneva (2 days) -> Grindelwald (2 days) -> Zermatt (2 days) -> Geneva -> Glasgow
£150 return on British Airways, which is not bad at all.
We're going to drink beer here...
And here...

| Re: What to do for holidays.... Going away yerself is quality. Don't get me wrong there's times where you wish you'd whoever there to show them, or laugh about something. But as Lee says, you meet folk and don't need to fit your holiday around anyone else. It's good shit. |

| Re: What to do for holidays.... I'd be utterly terrified! hate going to the cinema/for a meal/snack in a cafe on my own so te idea of gong away on my own terrifes me! I'm quite a hermit here and am quite a loner really but I like company for certain things like going on holiday I want to go to America y'see and that would be terrifying on my own. | Re: What to do for holidays.... Why not suggest a girlie holiday to some of your mates? Means they cannae take their other halves (unless they're lesbians, i spose) without being outcasts. To be honest, I'd imagine they'd jump at the chance of getting away on their own with their mates. |
