daytrips

anyone know any websites that do cheapish daytrips leaving from Buchanan bus station or Central? I quite fancy Skye or Arran or something for the day seen as how Alton Towers was working out at 60 quid each

Anyone able to help? I've tried the SPT website and the network rail one and couldn't see anything helpful at all (unless I've just been a pie and missed it)

we camped on Arran getting the train from glasgow to ardrossan harbour then ferry to broderick.

the ferry was a 5 day saver

Ive hee haw idea how much it was as i skipped the train


I dont think theres an actual day trip, £6.85 for the train,
single is £5.25, saver is 8.95 for the ferry

Arran's a good shout. If you're not taking a car, get the earliest boat over you can, since I'm not sure how good the buses are on the island. Although there's probably enough in Brodick and the surrounding area to keep you occupied if you're only there a day.

The boats about 55 mins and the bus is every hour just as the ferry lands and costs £4 if i remember right

I quite fancied Brodick Catle. I'm sure SPT were doing a daytrip ticket including ferry and castle entry for under 20 quid. This was last year mind. Fucked if I can find it anywhere online though
