| Re: travelling to u.s/convictions I know a guy who recently needed to go to london to get a visa and he was a stoner fuck just like me and got the day wrong and missed his date. turned up at the embassy 1 day late. haha, jeez. fuck that noise. Hes from dundee an all.
wheres the first point of call for applying for a visa? just that us embassy website? |

wheres the first point of call for applying for a visa? just that us embassy website? | Probably best bet is to give the Visa line a call which is on the US Embassy website. They should give you up to date info and send you out the relevant documents and sort an appointment if needed.
Mind you it costs £1.20 a minute (which is 30p cheaper than when I worked on it) so don't waste time while on the call  .

If they catch you 'working' on a tourist visa, then forget about ever getting back into the US again.
On the other hand, if you're going to have to go thru the visa application process, having someone at the other end as a reference that you're going to 'work' might give you a better chance of getting thru... however, that then might lead you into P1 working visa's which would be more expensive..
It's very complicated...
