| What is the cheapest way to travel between Germany, France and Spain? I want to travel in Frankfurt, Cologne, Munich, Marseille, Barcelona, and Madrid. The modes of travel I found were either Eurail Pass or Ryan Air. Ryan air however doesnt land at Marseille. Please help. Also if you have used any of these travel methods, kindly state your experience with them. Thanks. |

| Re: What is the cheapest way to travel between Germany, France and Spain? Ryan Air is a cheap no frills airline, they r reliable, but they have hidden charges they whack on when you book, which sucks.
Bus is always gonna be the cheapest.
That Eurail ticket is a good idea, dunno how expensive it is these days.

| Re: What is the cheapest way to travel between Germany, France and Spain? If you can stand the idea of the bus there's Eurolines http://www.eurolines.com Marseille to Barcelona; 33 euro one way. If you book ahead on the internet, blah blah.
Think it was these guys I used overnight from France to Barcelona. It's an overnight bus, it's not the Ritz, seemed efficient and I didn't get stranded anywhere.

cheapest way is probably to steal a car, provided the tank is full.
or hitch-hike with lorry drivers, as long as the odd bit of getting murdered isn't too much of an inconvenience.

| Re: What is the cheapest way to travel between Germany, France and Spain? I wouldn't bother with ryanair. You have to factor in all the costs of getting to and from the airport, which isn't always cheap. Rail or bus.
