I'm needing to book some flights. I've never booked flights in my puff.

I'm going to Germany in August and Canadaland in September. I know I've left so late that I'm going to be molested on the prices, to the extent where I'll undoubtedly need repressed memory therapy in my Forties, but I'm okay with that.

Any recommendations?

I usually check on NetFlights or Cheapoair.. then when I see what I need, try and get the same deal direct from the airline..

The flight centre is usually worth a look.

http://www.canadianaffair.com/ do cheap flights to Canada from Glasgow, well worth checking out. You can do certain dates in September for £300 return Glasgow to Toronto.

Germany it depends where you're going but you should still get a good deal on the budget airlines.

^ta for that, turns out that's who my mate is booking through so I could maybe get the same flight as him.

And apparently RyanAir are doing decent Germany prices right now. Yaldissimo.

i'm still gutted that zoom went bust, my dad used them to go to canada loads and i went once with them and they were pretty cheap but pretty good. shame.

by the time all the ryanair charges have been added in, i usually found that air berlin were cheaper.
