| Edinburgh by candle light An up and coming visit to the windy castly prompts suggests for fun, what can be done in the capital C?
Im going away from the friday 3rd to the sunday 5th and have a little thing or two planned for my little lady, but we think that this vast resource should be tapped and need some ideas on what we can get up to, anyone know anyplace cool, something most people dont about edinburgh?
Any cool monuments, other than the camera obscura which sucked.
We're ignorant tourists, all we want is shinny sparkly things to distract us...

| Re: Edinburgh by candle light Visit Ireland for Abrakababra, 24 hour kebab heaven.
Pity the Edinburgers don't endorse kababra. We got a Morocan and Jamaican restaurant booked so were looking for events and attractions (like a six assed monkey) and that kind of thing.
We are thinking about the Dungeon's but everybody knows about them. I want something more macabra.

| Re: Edinburgh by candle light museum of childhood on the royal mile free and fun. if its a nice day go for a stroll up the side of the castle. go on one of the underground or cemetry tours at night, yeah the tourists do that but you get to see bits that everyone cant see all the time. cant think of anything else right now

| Re: Edinburgh by candle light Since you's are over for the full weekend you's could head to The Mission.
"The Mission is a small Edinburgh based nightclub located in Studio 24, on Calton Road, a ten minute walk from the Scottish Parliament and Hollyrood Palace. The two floored nightclub is stricly a rock venue and regularly holds "The Mission Jnr" on Saturday nights (6pm-10pm) and "The Mission" (11pm-3am)"
Have a good one, if you's ever leave the hotel room. |

| Re: Edinburgh by candle light Its a shame you's won't be there on the Thursday. I was going to suggest you go to the "Italian wine tasting at Fruitmarket Gallery". |
