#1 | | Guest | Edinburgh? Ok lovely AN people, I need some help
I have to go to a meeting in Edinburgh in 2 weeks, my meeting starts at 3pm round the corner from the Playhouse, but I have to take the kids with me, so I was considering heading through early doors, hopefully hitting Edinburgh around 10.30am and playing tourist for a few hours beforehand.
Potential issues are that one child is 4, the other 8 days old and I'll have a pram with me. In addition, I can't spend the whole day on my feet or outside.
Any suggestions of where we can go or what we can do? Money's not a huge issue, but I'd rather not be forking out loads of money on entrance fees for places. | |

| Re: Edinburgh? You're allowed to eat a packed lunch in the National Museum, too (or, at least, I saw loads of people doing it without interference).
You're not allowed to stroke the catfish in the pond.

You're not allowed to stroke the catfish in the pond. | You're also not allowed to wear a backpack in a lot of the museums/galleries, I was reprimanded several times for this. I didn't know this and spent a large part of the day (and the following few) with sore arms. It's probably worth bearing in mind if you're going to be carrying baby stuff about. |
