If neither is an option, the bands going through are Syth, Hyaline Theory, StandbY and Zynk |

| Re: Emergenza Semi Final: The Verdict Emergenza always HAS and always WILL be about revenue.
Theres no debating it, make them more money than anyone else and you'l go through.
Hopefully bands will learn from this in time.
Sorry to Hijack the thread and all, and unlucky about not getting through but it doesnt matter if your the next mogwai if you dont sell them enough tickets.

Forever, I will ask myself and others this question: Zynk?! =/ | Drop dead ya bunch of gothic fuck heads, the reasons uz didnt get thru is because ur set, was shit. Congratulations that u caught a couple of wee guys that u dont know giving u the horns, but the only reason is cause ur singers skirt was shorter than her belt, and to be honest, it wasnt a pretty site. I saw cellulite on the top of her legs .
in all fairness, im shocked that we got thru, i didnt think we wood av. we sold 80 tickets yea, but only 60(ish) ppl came to the gig and supported us. we went threw with 117 votes (thats the 3rd highest number of votes that a band has got going into Carling (syth coming 2nd and kobai coming top with the most votes), so we cant be that shit.
Fair enoff uz dont like us and all, personally i dont like us either (lol), but shit happens so deal with it. and if uz enter the competition next year, ul probably notice ul b able to sell all ur 80 tickets or wot not, so just go out and keep getting noticed. www.zynk.co.uk

| Re: Emergenza Semi Final: The Verdict i take back the drop dead thing, i hate hearing ppl dissing us, 1 thing if its ppl from East Kilbride, but ppl we dont know, its just a pain.
anyways...
yea were from an e.k. band
SYTH were fuckin amazing, but wot i meant was Janis counted up all the votes that each band got and out of all the bands that have made it to Carling, Kobai got the most votes with 131 votes, then syth with 124 votes and we got 117. |

| Re: Emergenza Semi Final: The Verdict 'mon the Kobai!
personally i thought it a very strange set up... and the sound for last saturdays semi-final was fucking atrocious.
the band that went through in second place seemed to go through because they had a gang of football hooligans along to support them. the band lacked originality, charisma and decent songs, but went through in front of other bands because they sold more tickets probably. |

| Re: Emergenza Semi Final: The Verdict Did you register with this forum just to come on here and try to pick a fight with us "Gothic" types?
First point, I'm not in the least bit gothic. Second, surely you have something better to do. Third, I can't remember reading anything by members of the band saying any band were "shite" or whatever. In fact the only other post I've made in this thread was simply to congratulate our good friends in Syth on their victory (as it was announced).
I'm not interested in any war of words with anyone so can we just stop acting like children and drop this now?
