im trying to make my squirrel vanish from his circle, cant think how to do it any suggestions???

like so?
select the paintbrush tool, set it to about 5px, 50% hardness, make it black.
paint over the bits of the circle that are easy, then use the magic wand to select individual sections that are trickier, and then when its highlighted, paint over them. and eventually they'll all be gone
