| Character Acting If I were an actor, I'd be a character actor. It's innate as I always wanted to be C3-PO rather than Luke Skywalker or Hans Solo which most boys identified with.
Anyway, for my purposes, in my little videos, my acting ability is sufficient (with a few lapses here and there).
But someone recently said i was using the same characters/voices so I've set my self an acting challenge to be 4 different people. Again, not entered into too seriously, they seem good enough for use in future videos i may make.
Character1. a Noel Coward type person
Character2. Churchill type person
Charcter3. Sylvester McCoy (a faveourite Droctor)
Character4. An Irish protestant Minister
and as should be apparent, this is all a bit of FUN.
i'd love to see anyone else do something similar, to see your acting talents. i may ask to hire you (joke)
video coming later |

Why not throw the thread open and ask Altnation's users for their suggestions as to what kinda character you should play?
I'm sure if Castrator's bored, he'll pace you on this, too |

Those ARE the characters you always use!
| that's only half true! I'll admit that the first two of that list are very similar to what i've done before (though subtly different at least, i hope).
But I've never known myself do Syvester MCoy (a brave first attempt at doing a scottish accent from me), nor do i remember doing this irish character (apart from once, many months ago). Quote: |

| Re: Character Acting Nah, I ain't taking no for an answer.
Consider the gauntlet thrown.
I'll pick a character, the next poster picks another character, and the third person to post gets to choose the situation.
Then it's up to you to prove your acting chops.
Since you mentioned him earlier on, let's have:
C3P0, unexpectedly meeting ________, and _________. |

| Re: Character Acting Colour me predictable, but it'd be interesting:
C3P0, unexpectedly meeting Scarlett (Gone with the Wind), and falling madly in love. |
