| Re: Font ID please It’s kerned way too tight for WhatThe Font to be any use. Script faces ain’t its stong point.
It’s unusual in that it’s quite a flowing script face, but very condensed and upright—there’s not the usual diagonal stress going on. Gives it a sort of fifties look.
I reckon you’re going to have trouble getting a perfect match, as it’s likely to be an amateur-made font, not something from one of the big catalogues (and the big catalogues are a lot easier to search … the rest of the web isn’t). You’re likely to waste a lot of time looking for it, so I’d recommend going with something similar in spirit rather than holding out for the exact match.
Veer and House Industries both do a lot of good script/brush faces. Check out their online catalogues. You should be able to Google ’em both.
(A quick browse of Veer throws up Happy Hour and Tamarillo, neither of which are right but both of which are very nice and could work well for you)

| Re: Font ID please Save me starting a new thread and all that
I've spent the best part of today hunting through about 8000 free fonts for one that matches the below. Thanks to a reformat after a bad crash I lost the damn thing and now need it
I've found a few that were close but none that were the same.
Any ideas?
(ignore the drop shadow btw ) |

| Re: Font ID please FF Trixie Plain €40 to buy. A bargain for the classic distressed typewriter face.
What you have there looks to me like a slightly squashed rip-off version of it.
