Naah, I don't feel bad about it. Although it has helped me get over the fear of skinning ect. At one point I kept thinking (when I was working on the fox a while back) 'It's gonna wake up, it's gonna wake up, it's gonna wake up', even though I knew full well it was beyond dead.
I've got a rat pup on defrost just now. And I'll be sure to post a warning when I get around to doing squirrels

The pins in his face and shoulders are to keep the skin positioned whilst it dries into the shape I want it in. Just incase you were wondering.

And I'm well chuffed with the eyes, eyelids were fiddly :/

They'll just dry out with time and there's enough chemicals in the rest of the skin, legs and head to dry that out too. If you leave a rodent tail unskinned tho, aye, it'll honk. Quote:
