Poster making

ok hardly art but i wasn't sure where to put it.

anyone know of any websites which help you make up posters? I guess i could manage it on my own, but want it to look decent. Basically looking into making posters for auditions for a play i am producing.

What kind of thing are you looking for? A basic template they will work with word, arty stuff...?

It seems obvious, but if your looking for people to audition, surely a plain text sheet with information on the play, the roles etc and tear off phone numbers/web addresses/emails addys is all you need.

Stupidily forgot to mention that I would need a design for flyers as well, which i guess is the most important. Do you think I'd be able to get a reduced rate if I went to an art school?- is that done? Basically looking for a drawing of the green fairy - i was thinking black background with a green fairy figure, or vice versa - but then i am not an artist so would be open to change.

There are folks on Deviant Art that do commissions. If you find a design on Deviant Art that you like you might even be able to get permission to use it for free.

You can also try to sign it for the 10th magdalena festival. The commision is only 20€. Look on www.magdalena.org

- although ploskev i can't seem to find a part on that website for companies to submit briefs, unless time has ended for that.
