Plaster of Paris Bandages

I thought they would be easy to find.

Alas, they are slightly harder to find than I thought. Any ideas where I can find them in Glasgow? Need them by tomorrow at the latest probably.



A few people have mentioned hospital supply stores to me. But I have never come across one!

if push comes to shove, you could always buy light cotton or gauze, tear it into strips then soak it a thin pop mixture, lay out as you require? just use really cold water for the mixture so it doesnt set to fast whilst you mess around with the strips.

Pound shops often have bandages (or are you after something particular?).

Millers in the city centre sell the stuff. Thats where I bought it the last time I needed some.

as does the art store on queen street. it's horrible overpriced though compared to getting it from non art places

I was looking for the bandages used for like healing broken bones. They apparently use bandages with plaster of paris already in them.

It's for an art project I'm working on.

Would plaster of paris just mixed with bandages work the same? How much am I looking at just the POP costing?

Thats what the art shop sells... It was a while ago since I last bought some so I can't remember how much it was. Probably cheaper buying it online but if you need it for tommorow then an art shop will be your only option.

If all else fails, you can get similar types of bandages from model shops. They normally come in sheets rather then strips though. D&F Models in the Merchant City would be the best place to try for them.
