I dunno, I wouldn't necessarily call the piano thing vandalism. If you've bought the piano and choose to turn it into a funeral pyre on a beach with folk watching that's your property and perrogative really. If you'd set somebody else's piano on fire I'd term that vandalism.

I don't know. With something like a piano, which takes a huge investment of time, care and skill to create, you could argue that your ownership of the item isn't all there is to consider.

If you paid the Dolla dolla bills y'all for the piano, then you can do whatever the fuck you want to it. The time/care/skill is covered by the fat wad of cash the guy recieved from you when you purchased it. After that you could hollow it out and sail it down the danube for all i care!

its a good point, and altho yeh i would most prob be a bit like "ermm..." - i wouldnt have a go or even say anything, as you did pay me whatever i asked for it. And i wouldnt call what you were doing vandalism, as its destroying your own property - even if i did create it.
