| i really appreciate painters, like dali, van gough, etc, but i'm more interested in sculpture, especially fahsion's take of the body, designers like issey miyake and viktor and rolf (coture, not pret) really emphasise elements of the body and make it almost alien...i used to hate that kinda crap, but now i appreciate it more.
standard grade art was piss easy. higher was bearable. portfolio was a nightmare. never ever ever take portfolio art...u'll regret it, i spent a year taking odd photos, which are cool in their own right, but really don't mean much when u string em together and try to link them up to some odd sculpture...
that was my experience anyway.
my teacher moaned at me on average 500 times a day, in a screeching english accent: ''what are u doing jadeee???'' or ''it's your funeral...u need this portfolio...i've been to art school, it's not me who has to do all the work!''
