| a little help please! I can't believe I'm asking the forum, but seen as how I'm having a total and utter block at the minute...
Can anyone think of a good song or piece of music loosely based on a bizarre or really good story that would translate to a piece of animation? Someone's doing Laura by Flogging Molly and having an Irish guy going to the underworld to get his missus back.
I quite fancied doing the poem the Jabberwocky by C.S. Lewis (the inspiration for the creepy Metz advert a few years back... beware of the Jabberwocky my dear.. ) I am however at a loss for a song.
So anything ridiculous with a mental story is good. Preferably not too offensive to the ears and with no swear words. Members of the general public will see it, so preferably not a hardcore song where you ca't make out the lyrics.
Any help would be greatly appreciated though!
Thanks in hope!!!

| Re: a little help please! I also thought of doing something from mythology with a big hand drawn bit of Icarus plummeting into the sea, but it's a bit sensible and boring let's face it.
I'll save that for the drawn frame by frame section of the course mayhaps.
Stagger Lee's 'motherfucker' tastic though
hmm...there must be some good Psychobilly out there. Anyone? or old school songs that tell stories like Mack the Knife.

Then Red Right Hand.
Just Nick Cave songs really...
If you're wating mythological stuff then The Lyre Of Orpheus would be good. |
