| a stencil is exactly what it says it is...
for example: a piece of card with a shape cut out that you can place the stencil on a surface and apply paint to to leave an image on the surface...look at the pic of the police in my sig... | |

| depends there are some techniques u can use which are similar to stencils in that you use a flat edge to make lines and shapes but generally throw ups or larger pieces are freehand. | |
