| I'm doing my brief based on a model one that was written by the art department in my school but i have modified it somewhat. The basis of it is natural forms which i had not considered doing this year as i have done it in previous years but was recommended to me to do again by my art teaher but from a completely different angle than i had previously used.

I usually like to get a good idea of what exactly i'm going to do though. I like to get it clear in my head the things i need to do in it and what exactly i want the finished design to look like.

| You're not a designer if you're not working to a brief. Design always has a purpose, it's communication. If you've no brief, you're closer to being an artist.

| I went to Glasgow yesterday, and was at edinburgh today, have to say drawing&painting looked better @ edinburgh, less claustrophobic, less pretentious arses hoho
