I've cheated a bit and put up the original, un-tampered with art here, but none of them suffer too gravely from the intrusion of logos, and Cursed and Baroness covers are totally unchanged.

You can pick pretty much any Black Flag and stick it up here. Pettibon is/was a genius.

^^^ Maiden sure have a lot of great covers.


Obvious choice but I love Sgt Pepper's, partly because it was the first album I ever owned. The included cut-out moustache / sgt stripes etc was a stroke of genius.

More recently... LemonJelly's Lost Horizons is just beautiful, on vinyl it's a big gatefold affair that looks like this:

Always liked that Tom Waits cover for some reason...never really got into the music though :s

The Blue Monday vinyl sleeve is a classic.
