BECOME THE NEXT VOODOO DJ We’re looking for the next potential voodoo DJ in a quest to bring new and fresh DJ talent to the Cathouse. What better place to start than YOU guys!
We’re looking for demos & mixes from anyone who thinks they might have the right stuff. You don’t even need to have previous DJ experience, just a good selection of tunes and some fluidity between tracks would help.
(I.e. not play. Stop. Play. Stop) THINK YOU’RE UP FOR THE JOB? HERE IS WHAT WE REQUIRE (IMPORTANT):
• All demos should be approx 30 minutes long.
• All demos should have a contact name & number.
After all we have to be able to contact you if we like what we hear!
• This competition is open to 16 – 20 year olds.
• Entrants must have a good knowledge of the rock scene specifically the
emo/ hardcore scene with the ability to add their own stamp to it/ change with the times.
• Be a Cathouse regular and/or know the Glasgow alternative scene well.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M CHOSEN?
• If you are “The One” you will work with Dec on level 2 with the plan to eventually take over the floor as your own!
We’ll train you up so don’t sweat!
• If successful you will be immortalized in the Cathouse DJ hall of fame, gaining respect as a top DJ and working for one of the biggest Independent club promoters in Scotland!
