grr this program seems easy but its the things i think would be easy are hard, ive added a background image and i can't even scroll down in dreamweaver so see the bottom of the image.

Think the reason i am stuck is i built the website by opening a template the deleting everything aprt from the templates.

Think i got it, started working with photshop then checking hre image in dreamweaver and repeating till i got right image working within the tables which as far as i can see set the size of ur webpage. the coming soon page looks fine now. Done a copule of pages to the same sizes so its coming together.

ok at no point should you ever have a table cell's dimension defined as this: width="1272" height="824"
or the table holding the cell defined even bigger

the 2 most popular resolutions in use today are 1024x768 and 800x600, the percentage of people still using 800x600 is significant enough that it should be the resolution for which you design your site, depending on your target audience not designing to cater for this resolution you could be pushing away up to half of them never to return because they've had a bad browsing experience, i'm running at a resolution of 1280x1024 and it still looked huge on my screen

that may have come across as harsh but i've just woken up from a nap and a bit cranky, no harshness intended
