| Fat face syndrome
Yep im officially incredibly ugly  Whole side of my face swollen up. They dont think its mumps because ive had mumps before. They said its probably a blcoked parotid gland. Anyone ever had this before and how did they unblock it? :s |

If it's a blockage in one of your parotid ducts it'll probably go away by itself, if not a dentist or doctor will need to cut or squeeze the blockage out.

Im on a massive dose of antibiotics, they're doing diddily squat
Cutting and my face sounds terrifying Im going back to hospital tomorrow just wanting to know what to expect, apart from them all looking at me like im a leper, which i feel like anyway | |

If it's a blockage then antibiotics wouldn't do anything. They wouldn't cut open your face, it'd be the inside of your mouth. If you stick your tongue up into your cheek, just in next to your middle molars, you should feel a little bump on both sides. That's where your parotid duct opens into your mouth. They'd go in from that side.

I went for a check up and the BASTARDS kept me in. I didnt want to be there, I'm SURE ive got mumps but they dont fucking listen. Stuck me in there with pipes in my arm all night, freaked out by my own arm. Carting me about in a wheelchair MR I CAN FUCkIN WALK THANKS. IN the morning a different doctor comes round "yeh looks like mumps let her go home" FCUJKCINFJKHDHGD*&OT"EOHDIYLIUD shite.shite.shite.doctor.
