| Re: heart attack? yes there is, if you phone up and ask for a same day appointment they normally ask what it's for. Something like chest pain you'd more than likely get a same day one, but it might be open surgery in that you have to wait a while to get seen |

| Re: heart attack? I know two people who suffered chest pains and ended up in hospital.
One was a 21 year old junior footballer (smoker)
The other, a 60 year old man (reasonably fit non smoker)
The docs can trace heart attacks, and these two incidents were separate, but within a 2 week timescale and they couldnt confirm these were heart attacks (when they tested) but suggested it was the only thing they could think it was.

| Re: heart attack? It could be stress or it could be muscular as acute cardiac trouble in someone your age isnt really that common unless you have been doing coke or whatever. Get it checked out anyways and put your mind at rest |

| Re: heart attack? I woke up a few years ago with an intense pain roughly where my heart is, but it turned out a bee had stung me in my sleep. (The bit that was sticking out was still sort of pulsating, apparently that happens and it carries on getting embedded deeper even after the bee has fucked off and died.)
Which is my long-winded way of saying there's plenty of other possible explanations other than heart attacks! Here's hoping it's something silly like that and that you can get a doctor to check it out and confirm this quickly

| Re: heart attack? Fenn go and drink some milk and see if it eases. With your age and demographic, it's highly unlikely to be a heart attack but don't mess around with that shit. Go and get it checked out. |

| Re: heart attack? Aye, I'm just echoing the 'see a Doc' view here. My mum had similar symptoms at the start of the year and it turned out to be acute gallstones. Better playing it safe. |
