At work tonight my eye unfortunately made contact with the corner of a cardboard box, it seemed to catch my actual eyeball and the skin right under my eye. I left the shopfloor, had a look at it in a mirror, washed it out a bit with some purified water and held a cold flannel under my eye to sort of bring down the swelling and after about ten minutes it felt ok again. My vision is totally fine but tonight since coming home the pain has got a bit worse and the area is starting to get a bit tender again.
Anyone here any sort of expert on eye injuries or whatever? Not sure if I should bother my doc with it or if they'd be able to check and see there's no scratches/damaged tissue or whatever.
