Err, the fast answer to that is no...

...but I do plan on getting a new job as soon as I return to work as my current employers were so unhelpful and unsupportive about the whole thing that I couldn't bear to go back there for good. My line of work suggests that I'll probably go into another desk based job though.

I do however intend on using a structured exercise regime in a bid to try and ensure that this doesn't happen again. I don't really have a choice now to be honest. I've got 2 damaged discs at the bottom of my spine now and I have to make sure that the core muscles which surround them are strong enough to provide adequate support and protection to the area. If I don't do the exercise I'll just end up in the same situation, or worse, again. I imagine that regular excercise such as swimming or pilates would help ease your problems too though. You should give it a go.

I'm actually quite looking forward to the fact that I will be forced into excercising regularly for the rest of my life. Athletic body here I come
