| Re: Tooth Veneers Veneers are silly I think. They only last around 10 year (I think) so all these fannies getting them for makeover shows wont be able to redo them in 10 years time and will have stumps! |

| Re: Tooth Veneers The ones i am looking at are the ones which are glued over the tooth - nothing to be filed down or shortened, my two teeth are pushed quite far back and in photos it doesnt look very nice, sadly its a bit too late to get braces to fix them because they are quite far.
my aunt has had them in the past but she paid £2k for three teeth but they were the ones which required the tooth to be filed down.
Im just wanting them because i dont feel very nice smiling because i think all pics of me come out making me look like i have two teeth missing at the front which is why its very rare to see me really smiling in pictures besides with my mouth closed |

| Re: Tooth Veneers I know a couple of people who have veneers over their front teeth and to be honest I think it looks awful. All the celebs who have it done look pretty decent though.

| Re: Tooth Veneers i have seen a few examples in the dentist office but that is only the adverting material so of course its going to look good
its just a confidence thing really - i found a pic of me from a year ago at my neices christening of me smiling and even though the bad side is away from the camera, its still quite noticable http://file045b.bebo.com/6/large/200...469330508l.jpg |

| Re: Tooth Veneers ack your adorable huni theres nothing to change.
it just would be nice to be able to smile properly in a picture without panicing about uneven teeth - its bad enough trying to hide the double chins lol! |

| Re: Tooth Veneers Haha I have a similar problem when people take pics, that's why I hold my head to the side so people dont get pics of me straight on so they cant see my squinty eyes going in 2 different directions |

| Re: Tooth Veneers I've got a veneer on one of my upper centrals; I doubt anyone could tell which of the two it is even looking closely. I've had it replaced twice in fifteen years.
the dental hospital will do them for nothing if you can find a student who needs to do them.
