| The best Gyms in Glasgow I have set myself a challenge, i currently am an 18 (slight 20 at times) but i am setting the task of keeping fit by joining a gym and getting to at least a 16 by august for a weddign i have...
I havent been to the gym since Ruths ann summers party a few years back where i fell down the stairs and chipped by coxix (laugh away i have heard it all)
Now i have no excuses, im fully recovered.
But everyone keeps telling me how great their gyms are and im bombarded with a choice.
I work just outside city centre, say 5 minutes away in shawlands so anything in city centre is fine, i will be using it maybe 3-4 times a week after work hours but im lookign for one which is good for the money, i was paying £40 for cosmepolitan in clydebank and i really didnt feel it was worth the money, the facilities were very limited and often very busy and never got a chance to go on a lot of stuff because others were on it - so somewhere with plenty of equipment would be cool and was thinking about taking up swimming if there are any with pools.
Can anyone suggest any good gyms in the areas which might fall under this? |

| Re: The best Gyms in Glasgow Greens is probably the best one in Glasgow i.m.o and the Virgin Active Club is really good, both are in Finnieston.. but alas I can't remember what their prices are.
Try not to join a gym inside of a hotel, as some really aren't the best, apart from the one I worked in

| Re: The best Gyms in Glasgow I've been waiting for Virgin Active to come back to my work with a better offer than their current 'discounted rate' of £40 a month. And that's with corporate rates. It does look amazing though. Just so damn expensive.
