| Dental Health So you have to brush your teeth at least twice a day, floss and use mouthwash… what do you use?
Currently I use the Aquafresh Deep Clean toothpaste, Oral B floss and Listerine mouthwash. It all seems a bit overkill, but as a smoker I have to: at least to avoid the gum disease associated with the habit, if not the aroma.
Any recommendations on floss and mouthwash? I hate both that I'm currently using and it's an expensive experiment when it comes to either if they end up minging. |

| Re: Dental Health I don't floss and rarely use mouthwash
Just brush 2x a day.
Not got one filling!
Shame, cause I imagine you'll need to keep with it especially if you smoke. |

| Re: Dental Health I brush my teeth at least twice a day but that's it. I use mouthwash on and off, not doing it just now coz I've got my monroe done and rinsing with saline is delicious enough. Also having 2 mouth piercings probably doesn't help.
In saying that I havo no fillings and lovely teeth. |

Shame, cause I imagine you'll need to keep with it especially if you smoke. | Yes, smoking puts you in a whole different league when it comes to dental health given that you surround your gums and teeth with poison twenty times a day
You'd think it'd make us give up… Quote:

In saying that I havo no fillings and lovely teeth. | I have fillings, but far fewer than most people my age - it helps if you don't like chocolate!
I had wondered about a simple saline solution rather than a shop bought mouthwash but I'm not sure it would achieve the same aim… |

| Re: Dental Health I rub bark on my teeth once a month or so.
Other than that, it's like hair, right? - if you stop washing it it eventually cleans itself; same with teeth I heard? i'm joking, as someone who works in a place where people get pretty close to talk to you, i'm pretty atuned to this subject!

I was wondering about it, but worried about regular use since it seems pretty strong. Is it prescription? |

No piercings so wouldn't bother me - expect I'd need some more mints though

Seriously considering it, but doing it right takes time and commitment. It will happen. |
