Track your period

I saw this site this site being lauded on a womens' forum I use and thought some of you might find it handy. You enter the day when you start your period every month and it will predict your cycle to tell you when you're next due. It's brilliant if you're not great at remembering when you last period was.

You have to remember to go on to the site to update it I suppose - that could be the downfall to the idea. An old fashioned paper diary works for me.

surely that website only works if you have fairly regular cycles though and not big epic 34 day ones or something?

How does it work?
Each time you start your period, add the date to your Mon.thly account, and it will use your history to predict the next time your cycle will start. This provides you with a record of your menstrual cycles, which can be an important addition to your medical history. If you want, Mon.thly will also email you a customized reminder before or on your next estimated start date.

How accurate are your predictions?
Only as accurate as your cycles are regular. As the database grows, we will be able to improve the prediction algorithm.

while it might not seem to you like you have a regular cycle a proper analysis of it might prove that it runs in 3 or 4 month cycles or the like.

Apparently it averages it, so it uses data based upon your own cycles and adjusts over time with increasing amounts of information. So it'll work if you have a regular cycle of any length, but it's less likely to work if your ovaries are as unpredicatable as Potatojunkie's outfits.
