I eat pretty well with my one mistake being I usually miss either breakfast or dinner due to work. Exercise is my bugbear, I don't do anything, I don't walk anywhere. It's bad habits that have become routine but I'm working on it. |

| Re: The all-new, all-singing, all-dancing two stone for whenever thread. This week I've had toothache, a two-day hangover and been poisoned by expired medication, I'm almost phobic of exercise in case I break.

| Re: The all-new, all-singing, all-dancing two stone for whenever thread. I am under no illusion that any sort of 'starvation' diet such as the Cabbage Soup is a long-term solution. I have said quite a few times that the only reason I'm going to use it is to lose a few pounds for my ball, and I quite fully believe that I'll put them back on as soon as I stop. After that I am going to go fully into the 'healthy eating and exercise' thing. I honestly don't think many people on here are going to go in for long term faddish diets - the 'tips' thing is probably tips to stop sugar cravings and healthy recipes.
If you know anything about the 'GI diet' you'd know that it is simply an extension of healthy eating, with the only 'fad' aspect to it the inclusion of certain foods so as to prolong your feeling of fullness and stop your cravings for snacks and sweets. And it really fucking works. It's medically approved and sustainable.
Oh aye, and exercise. But everyone knows about that |

I'll do my stats once I get to a proper, working scale!

When I was thin it didn't make my life that much better. I was marginally more confident, but there was still a lot about myself I wanted to change. But of course, now I've filled out and become all morose again the rose-tinted specs are back, and I'm convinced I'd be ten times happier with myself if I lost this half-stone. Lame, I know, but it's not like it's voluntary. |
