Well, along with being another attention seeking piece of nonsense, alcohol is empty calories, situps won't help you lose anything(Only build up muscle), cardiovascular activity has to occur for over twenty minutes before you start using stored fat and as far as I can tell, Adios is shit; you'd be better off with a piece of cork the size of your fist. At least you'd feel full after eating it.

Oh, and a side note to all; you'll want to increase all this stuff. Fifty situps a day for twenty years won't change anything, other than making it possible for you to do fifty situps a day*. Once you can do it with no bother, then do more. Or sit some heavy stuff on your chest while you do it. Whichever.


*And have torn muscles after three months of it non-stop, probably.

Starting off with low numbers of sit ups, step ups and stride things untill I feel I'm used to it then up my numbers. But I'll be doing it gradually.

The real question is if you want more muscle or less fat. Both is good, but it's best to stuick to one at a time. Cutting then bulking's the usual strategy.

I'm a fat bastard and therefore am not really comfortable sticking my current weight up on the forum. However, I've lost 2st 10lbs on weightwatchers since January and am continuing to follow the plan until I reach my goal weight (and will then use it to maintain my weight for as long as need be). I've also caught the exercise bug and go to Body Combat 3 times a week (which I highly recommend) as well as the gym whenever I can. To me it's all about getting fit enough to chase my kids around the park for hours on end as well as feeling comfortable and sexy.

I wasn't able to join in with the other diet threads because I was pregnant. Now I'm not pregnant (at least I fucking hope I'm not) I can join in and be a skinny minnie.

Vonnie, you should know by now that you can't actually have any sort of reason for behaviour Jaemi doesn't approve of - he just can't take it.

The original thread worked for me, and seeing as I've been meaning to lose those few Christmas/exam stress pounds anyway so thought I'd join in.
