| The all-new, all-singing, all-dancing two stone for whenever thread. Right! Let's get this done.
Fill in the wee questionnaire if you feel like it, but primarily this is going to be for support, hints and tips for those of us embarking on a weight loss programme. Current weight Target weight Diet start date Weight loss this week Total weight loss with this diet Diet programme followed
Don't be on the scales every day, set one day a week to weigh in. Shall we say a Friday when we can all check in?
I haven't been serious about dieting until now to be honest, but my size is really getting to me now so I'm going to be strong! Current weight - 13st 5lbs Target weight - 10st 6lbs Diet start date - 9th May 2008 Weight loss this week - Not applicable Total weight loss with this diet - Not applicable Diet programme followed - At the moment? Healthy eating and cutting out the crap, I'll eventually do the GI diet.
Good luck everyone! |

Great idea, I've been on a diet for 2 months now and I've lost a stone so far. I did the weightwatchers diet a few years back and it worked really well. This time however I wanted to get fit as well. I don't go to the classes but I stick roughly to the weightwatchers diet in terms of my daily amount of food. I've built the exercise up to 5 days a week, 3 of them using exercise DVD's in the house.
Although I've only lost a stone I feel like it's been a lot more, I feel a lot healthier and I look a lot better, the exercise really works!!
I haven't been totally strict with myself and I still eat lots of pizza and chocolate so I think I really need the exercise part!

You'd think. Personally I just want to be healthy and comfortable with myself, obviously I can't comment for everyone else right enough. | You're a big liar Vonnie, telling me there isn't at least some impulse to be thin and sexy? Don't even deny it, any denials will be such a waste of words that I will be unable to bring myself to waste away my life reading them.
On that note:
Current weight - 13st
Target weight - 11.5st
Diet start date - 7/08
Weight loss this week - Neglible
Diet programme followed - Healthy eating, lotsa exercise. No beer *sniff*

| Re: The all-new, all-singing, all-dancing two stone for whenever thread. Shut up Mark
There might well be for other people, but I just want to get rid of my post-pregnancy belly. I've never, ever been thin and I have no desire to be. Plus thin /= sexy necessarily. |

Being healthy is my priority, as I think most people would claim it is. Mainly I just want rid of the beer belly as its getting to be a hassle to carry. Doubling the number of women who throw themselves at my feet on a daily basis is just a happy side effect. Or at least thats what I'm telling Elaine.

Why are people so willing to succumb to ridiculous fad diets? Mark has summed up all you need to know in three words and one pseudo-word. |

| Re: The all-new, all-singing, all-dancing two stone for whenever thread. Having some insane or illogical diet or schedule to adhere focuses the weightlosers mind. The same is true for quitting smoking.
