I can't possibly describe how fucking idiotic this is. Crystal is different - she doesn't have to diet to we the weight she is. If you do, then I really think there's something wrong. | BMI isn't exactly the most accurate or reliable weight measurement tho, is it?
I don't mind not reaching my target weight as long as I can be at least a size 8 in all shops.

I think you are more like me in size and body frame shape. I think the thinnest I could ever go without looking anorexic would be 9 1/2 stone and that would be pushing it!

I think you're looking well good nowadays, I actually don't think you need to lose weight at all!

Yes, BMI is not great for people of approximately normal weight or extenuating circumstances (such as a very small frame, or high muscle mass), but there is a reason it is used in medical circles - in the vast majority of people it's a really good way of determining health. The vast majority of people can't have a BMI of 15 and be healthy, just as the vast majority of people can't have a BMI of 35 and be healthy.
This has made me properly fucking concerned. |

I hate how whenever I post in threads like these there's always a lot of drama about me being weight para ://
I'm just going to have to lose weight in privacy again I think....

| Re: The all-new, all-singing, all-dancing two stone for whenever thread. Y'know what? I think Christie looks curvy for her size and shape. It wouldn't immediately strike me as grounds for concern that she wants to lose a bit of weight. Its not necessary, strictly speaking, but if she wants to be a bit skinnier then thats entirely her prerogative.
I didn't expect this opinion to put me at such dramatic odds with medical science, as represented here by Vicky. |

| Re: The all-new, all-singing, all-dancing two stone for whenever thread. I have no problems with anyone wanting to lose a little weight, but there is no need for her to lose 3 stone - that is a shitload of weight, especially for someone of a perfectly normal size. There's no ignoring the fact that a BMI of 15.8 is seriously underweight. |
