| Ear Infections I'm having a bit of a problem with an outer ear infection just now. It's hurting like a bitch and giving off a discharge.
Problem is I can see a Doctor until tomorrow. Anyone got any ideas for things I can do to help it clear up in the mean time?
I did get a spray from the chemist (which is what the Doctor told me to do last time I had an ear infection, if I got it again), but all it's done is made the pain and my hearing worse (I'd guess it's just inflamed the ear canal rather then killing off the infection).
Any suggestions, or am I just stuck on pain killers until tomorrow? |

| Re: Ear Infections I used to have major problems with my ears when I was younger... gromitts, outer+middle+inner infections often at the same time and too many burst ear drums to count. Needless to say, antibiotics were the only thing that ever helped. I remember being on holiday in Greece, up all night with the pain and was almost hallucinating through pain+tiredness.
I'm a bit deaf these days *tear*
hope it's better now! |
