whats the best way to get rid of a cold?

Try wrapping yourself in your qulit with a cup of hot milk that works for me. It does take all day and gives you an excuse not to do anything at all.

Well as my Mum always tells me "drink some Whisky". It does actually work, whenever i have a cold coming on i drink some straight Whisky and it clears it right up . Hope ya feel better.

Bottled water is a good way to get rid of a cold if you feelit comin. Chug the volvic and usually keeps it away for me....

Well it always works for me. If nothing else its a good excuse for a few drinks. But i wouldn't advise it if you had a dodgy stomach cause it probably would make you feel worse. But its good for sore throats and head colds .

Drink plenty of water to help get rid of whatever's in your system and eat lots of fruit loaded with vitamin C, that'll always help you out a bit.

eat something spicy, drink loads of coffee or something equally caffeinated, and that should give you the energy to get through the night. you might feel worse the next day, but you gotta make some sacrifices.
