| Losing Energy So after a day of sitting at my desk, I would quite like the energy to do something other than collapse in front of the tv at the end of the day.
Can anybody recommend any foods that would boost my energy during the day?

| Re: Losing Energy (from my own experience; obviously everyone varies wildly and this could be bollocks advice for somebody else) steer clear of sugary/sweet stuff (I find it's a killer for lethargy), drink lots of water during the day. try and go for a (short) walk during lunch, if you can. |

| Re: Losing Energy pop an E and you'll be fine.
that, or as mentioned above, drink loads of water during the day. I find having a salad for dinner helps as well. |

On-topic, I'm out of ideas. Tuna/salad sandwiches (dash of vinegar or light vinegarette dressing, rather than tuna/mayo, with lettuce and cucumber) on brown bread with olive oil spread might work. Assuming you don't hate tuna. |

Bananas = B A N A N A S | If you want energy then Lucozade & Mars are the shit. Professional althetes use it so I'd guess it does actually work.
However yes, dehydration is a big factor in the "cant be arsed" stakes. By drinking Lucozade your body holds onto the water inside your body for longer, thus helping to keep you rehydrated and to provide energy. |

| Re: Losing Energy Aye you'll crash eventually but then you sleep every night. The only thing about such products is you can become reliant on that energy boost. Id definately look at the diet thing as mentioned and use my suggestions as occasional boosts, should you require them.
Drink plenty water though. Most people have no idea that they are dehydrated. |
